Vestige 2.0 is a silver-gelatin lith print made in 2025 from a series of analogue black-and-white photographs taken around the decommissioned Helena power plant on Hanasaari in the summer of 2024. The series documents debris and decay surrounding the demolition site. Vestige 2.0 lith print has several iterations. The one which was exhibited in Galleria Toinen Silmä as part of Hämärä / Dark group exhibition in 2025 was accidentally overdeveloped, which made the already rusty chain in the picture appear even more corroded and imbued the image with a darker, more sinister atmosphere. The warmer tone also lends the image a retro quality, enhancing the gloomy ambience.
